Our first show of the season is A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller. Directed by Mike Beaman, this tragic play set in a working-class Italian-American neighborhood in Brooklyn. It centers on Eddie Carbone, a longshoreman who lives with his wife Beatrice and their niece Catherine. When Beatrice’s cousins, undocumented immigrants from Italy, come to stay with them, tensions rise. Eddie becomes overly protective of Catherine and grows suspicious and jealous of her developing relationship with one of the cousins, Rodolpho. His inability to control his feelings leads to betrayal, conflict, and ultimately tragedy.

*A View from the Bridge contains mature themes including depictions of violence, intimacy, and death. Not recommended for children under 12.

Tickets go on sale September 9th.
