SULIETTE ORTIZ!
For the fourth year in a row, a DA theatre student will be presenting the North and Central Florida area at the prestigious Jimmy Awards in New York City! Recent graduate, Suliette Ortiz, was selected as the overall female Outstanding Lead Performer Winner at the Applause Awards in Orlando on May 31st. She now moves on to perform at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (also known as the “Jimmy’s”) on the Minskoff Theatre stage on June 23rd.

Whether you love the spotlight or prefer to shine behind the scenes, the DA Theatre Boosters has a role for you! We’re looking for passionate, creative, and slightly dramatic (in a good way) folks to join our amazing Booster team for 2025-26. No audition required—just a willingness to support our talented students and wonderful faculty!

The DA Theatre Boosters Handbook will answer all your questions about how to get involved with Boosters, pay your Enrichment Fee, join the Patrons Club and anything else you need to know about the Theatre Department at DA! The By-Laws are the rules and guidelines that DA Theatre Boosters must follow.
