Douglas Anderson School of the Arts is proud to present this year’s musical production of Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady this November. My Fair Lady is recognized as one of the most beloved musicals of all time. The tale of a cockney flower girl transformed into an elegant society lady features one of musical theatre’s greatest scores, including: “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “On the Street Where You Live,” and “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.” My Fair Lady is that rare musical by which all others are measured. When the musical opened on Broadway, it collected six Tony Awards including Best Musical, and the film version took home eight Oscars including Best Picture.
